Are You Addicted To This?

Do you remember the big stink in the U.S. a few years back surrounding McDonald’s and their food, most notably French fries? It was the big trans-fat scare!

That’s right, we were being poisoned by the evil clown with deadly fat and something had to be done! Yeah, because they cared sooo much…

So the government stepped in and the burger giant was forced to change their frying oil. On the surface of it all...wasn't it nice of good old Uncle Sam to care.

To safeguard and protect we, the ignorant masses, and to ensure that when we’re shoving super-sized fries into our pie holes... that they’re not entirely unhealthy! (funny)

Sweet… but do you know that despite your choice to visit Mickey Dee’s...

There is something found in virtually every can, box or bag of food in the grocery aisle that’s incredibly addictive, almost immediately turns to fat when you eat it and is one of the leading causes of most of the ailments we suffer today?

So what is this secret ingredients, which is not only ignored by the government but actually supported by it?

Sugar...Sugar...Wonderful Sugar

Sugar is okay in small quantities, is extremely unhealthy, fattening and very... very addictive.

That’s right...thousands of independent clinical studies have shown that sugar is more addictive than cocaine and even heroine… …and it’s in virtually everything we eat!

Here’s how it works, You eat yummy sugary foods, your blood sugar levels peak, and your body releases Dopamine (that feel good chemical in your brain) and Insulin which in turn your body stores as fat.

Its the same chemical that triggers other pleasurable experiences like having sex, listening to your favorite music, the buzz of achieving a goal, or the rush after training... but on the flip side it has the same effect as, drugs like... cocaine, heroin, or meth.

Addiction

Just like a drug addiction, regular sugar use builds up in the body and the brain eventually gets use to that high and become less sensitive to sugar, so to get the same rush, your brain needs more and more sugar to enjoy the same buzz...

And after any high you come down... like an addict you cash... your sugar level plummets and you feel tired, hungry, and search for the next sugar fix.

This behaviors triggers neurochemical changes in the brain and the urges for something sweets completely overpowering your common sense and best laid plans to eat healthy, just like an addict.
